I think the author shows potential as he is obviously early on in his career. The stories are quite short, and read somewhat like they were written during a college creative writing course, but nevertheless several are enjoyable (another several left me lukewarm and there was only one that I actively disliked). Quite a few touch on but don't deeply explore the Korean-American experience. I do think the $3 price tag is a bit steep for the 67 pages that you're getting and the book would be more appropriately priced at $0.99 (as are many self-published full-length novels for debut authors).Product details
